Ryan Brown

Partner

Ryan has over a decade of experience managing, leading, and motivating teams. After serving as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Air Force with missions in Iraq, Ryan entered the food and beverage industry managing a restaurant and bar. Shortly after being promoted, Ryan was recruited by a private investment firm as an operating partner for the company’s growing franchise business.

Education

Ryan holds an AS and AA degree in Business Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Finance from Eastern Florida State College. Ryan also has an MBA with a minor in finance from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. Ryan holds an executive entrepreneurship certification from The Hotel School at Cornell University and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Florida.

Andrew Howell

About

Prior to joining Patriot Investment Partners, Andrew served as an Investment Associate and the Director of Finance and Accounting at Midwest Growth Partners, a lower middle market focused private equity fund where he was responsible for prospective investment evaluation, deal underwriting and execution, and portfolio company monitoring and support in addition to fund valuations and fund reporting. Prior to Midwest Growth Partners, Andrew worked on the investment team at MiddleGround Capital, an industrials focused middle market private equity firm. Before MiddleGround, Andrew was a Manager at CLA in the Private Equity group providing financial due diligence and portfolio company support services to private equity funds and at Deloitte in their assurance practice.

Education
Andrew received his BSBA in Finance, Accounting, and Economics and Masters of Accounting from Drake University. Andrew is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Fun Facts

In his free time, Andrew is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to the beach (or anywhere warm) with his family and friends. Andrew and his wife Cara live in Des Moines, Iowa with their son, James.
